Six Elements Affect the Separation Effect of Shaking Table

Shaking table is a combined technology of domestic shaking table and gravity separation. It has several advantages such as enrichment ratio, high sorting efficiency and simple operation, and it can get the final concentrate and final tailings at once. During its working process, there are many factors affect its separation effect, here are the major six elements summarized by Hongxing Machinery:

1. The head of shaking table. The head of the table (spring is included) structure is different; it is not the same as the working curve. Due to the asymmetry movement of the bed surface, it plays an important role in the mineral grains on the bed surface to achieve loose stratification and handling zone. Therefore, the reasonable table curve is an important factor to improve table separation index.

2. The feeding size. The structure of shaking table is mainly according to the character of the ore processing and decision. Different feed size leads to different structure and operation conditions. When determining the table structure parameters, the requirements for the ore size should be suitable, otherwise it will affect the classification effect of the machine.

3. Feeding volume and feeding concentration of ore. Feeding volume and concentration of ore is the key operation of shaking table. If the feeding volume increases, the concentrate recovery rate will decrease. The loss rate of tailings will increase. This is because the volume of the slurry is increasing with the flow rate.

4. The transverse table slope. Transverse bed slope is the important condition to decide the flow velocity on the bed surface. It also affects the lateral velocity of particle motion. If there is a small change in slope, the effect is very obvious. It will change the concentrate with upward or downward, the slope is often the operating conditions of shaking table. In general, fine ore should adopt the small slope, coarse grain with large slope, which can not only reduce the water consumption, but also increase the output of tailings.

5. The amount of cleaning water. Cleaning water is used to clean the material with small proportion in the ditch, it will play the strong selected role in selected areas to make the light particles flow along the slope movement. Therefore, the quantity of water velocity and particle velocity are closely related, the influence of the separation is very obvious.

6. The stroke of table surface. The length of stroke is an important parameter in table operation, which determines the speed and acceleration of bed surface to influence of loose degree and movement speed of particle group. Stroke time determines the times that the particle is moving on the bed in the separation process.
